Great KC Pet Expo

The Highlands are pet-friendly! What better way to celebrate your furry friend than with the Great KC Pet Expo on November 3rd and 4th.

Join local pet parents at the Overland Convention Center beginning at 10 am for a variety of fun activities including races, contests, and demonstrations by trainers and other pet professionals. You may also enter one of the many giveaways for a chance to win new merchandise for your pet.

Purchase your tickets ahead of time or bring cash at the gate.

Taste of Portugal

On November 9th, The Culinary Center of Kansas City will host the Taste of Portugal event. Enjoy a night of fine dining and authentic music straight from the soul of Portugal. Chefs Manuel Silva and Danny DaSilva will be serving rustic Portuguese dishes alongside wines produced from the Douro River Valley.

While you dine, Nathalie Pires and Tania DaSilva accompanied by Ensemble Iberica will play traditional Iberian music. It’s the perfect setting for a date night!

Plan in advance by getting your tickets online.

Holiday Boutique

Finally, from November 15th to 18th the Overland Park Convention Center will feature vendors and exhibitors of all sorts for the Holiday Boutique. Shop from a wide variety of themed and seasonal accessories, art, crafts, food, gifts, decor, and much more!
