Cheer on the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium

Kauffman Stadium

An easy drive from The Highlands is one of the crown jewel ballparks of Major League Baseball. We are talking about Kauffman Stadium, and since 1973, it has welcomed more than 83 million fans. The ballpark is the home of the Kansas City Royals, and along with watching the game, fans can also enjoy:

Royals Hall of Fame

The Royals Hall of Fame combines the timelessness of a museum with the sheer fun of a stadium to provide fans with a unique experience. Found on the Plaza Level, it is where visitors can learn about the Royals storied history and the achievements of the team’s greatest players. Admission is free to all ticket holders on game day.

Rivals Sports Bar

Found just beyond the signature fountains, the Rivals Sports Bar offers one of the best vantage points in the stadium. The menu features an array of ballpark favorites including wings, burgers, and hot dogs. The bar is open during each home game, and it welcomes fans with tickets on a first come, first serve basis.

Stadium Tours

If you have ever wondered what goes on behind-the-scenes, then don’t miss a stadium tour. Held on both game and non-game days, it offers a look at the Royals dugout, press box, and interview room.

Royals Hot Dog Derby

Kauffman Stadium boasts that the Hot Dogs have locally reached celebrity status. The Hot Dog Derby began in 2007 and takes place on the weekends along the warning track to the finish line at home plate. Over the years, there have been several exciting down to the wire battles.
